Is the Joybos Z210 touchless trash can worth buying?
For a kitchen or bathroom, it is a reasonable buy at $69.95. The sensor opens the lid in about 0.3 seconds when something is 15 to 25 cm away, and it closes about 5 seconds after you leave. A damper keeps the closing quiet. There is also an air-pressure design: put the bag in, close the lid and air pushes the bag against the walls. Two things to know: it needs 4 AA batteries that you supply, and the lid can be opened by hand if the batteries die. I could not find customer ratings on the page.
